Why visit? #whistlestop stgeorge 🔹Bado-Berong, meaning "small fish" in the local Aboriginal language group is named after the creeks former use as a nursery for fish. The creek now runs alongside a large park across the road from Lady Robinson's beach at Sandringham. 🔹the park is well shaded and contains children's play equipment, and it is used frequently for picnics and BBQ's after a day on the beach. The park and creek are great for the kids to explore. 🔹nearby the creek and adjacent to the beach is a bike and walking path that spans the Lady Robinson's foreshore for around 10km's. Combine a visit to the creek with a run or bike or sunset walk, as there are often great views of the setting sun near the creek.
